Welcome to Club SAITO !

Dave, I have a buddy who did a lot of wings. He had lots of concrete blocks too. He got into sheeting wings by bagging them. Find a YouTube video of bagging wings because it is an interesting technique. He crushed a few wings before he asked for help from the company that makes the air pump, etc. I haven't done it yet.
Good morning Pete, have you seen any of these in your neck of the woods, this one is a Harley Street 500, a 60 degree V-twin, water cooled and fuel injected. The 500 is mfd in Kansas City Mo. the 750 is mfd in India. Radial tires are stock on them.
I ordered this kit from Eureka with the foam wing option for my Saito FG 11. It's a Joe Bridi design RCM 60 with several improvements to ease building.

I dunno Pete, a 125 @ 7.5 cubic inches and 3.3 hp would struggle with that trike. A 125 Hummer was my very first ride when I was 10 years old.

Do I detect a map of Tasmania on that seat old fart ? How on earth did u manage to imprint that ? Did u do it by memory or did u need help seeing that u roam on the other side of the fence ? Cheers

Hummer with 125 engine
Agreed the 125 cc engine would not excite the trike very much . I also rode a Hummer in the late fifties. But, I thought the 125 suggested engine for the trike was a 125 cubic inch motor. That might get the job done?

OK guys, got money, I'm buying !! , what engine ??
I know where I can buy 3 Saitos, asking price is $200 for ether engine,,
now this is for my ShoeString racer, span is 61 inches,, and keep in mind I am going to prop it for speed, probably run 20% or 25% Nitro,
so what engine ??, I would guess one of the 91s, but what's the differences in the two ?? (one has a white box, the other has a gold box)
but what about the 80, I know some of them had a lot of compression ??
#1) an 80, bench run only (white box) (not the 82a)
#2) a 91, has only 5 or 6 flights on it (white box with gold lettering)
#3) a 91, has only 5 or 6 flights on it (gold box with black trim/lettering)
I will buy on Monday
thanks guys
Jim

Tell us how you plan doing the sheeting on your foam wings. My memory of it was they came with nice rigid foam outer moulds and if you glued the right amount of sheets together you just slapped it in there and put a few weights evenly over the surface, that's for a saito fourstroke,i'd guess if it was for a wimpy no sound electric you could be a bit more careless

Some Saito boxes, from what years? Anybody's guess. Sort of from early to late, the 1.25 box being the latest. I remember those Bantam's, I always wanted a Beezer Royal Star 650, never got one.
I don't reckon you missed much by not owning a bsa single or twin. You'd be riding with mates who waved at you a lot.First time that happened my bike was on fire after a backfire back out thru the old carby.Only amal's can weep fuel like that and lucas electrics always help.

I had a BSA 250 single. Only it was rebadged as an Allstate 250. It was in my go kart when I was about 12 yrs old. Had to be careful as that was serious cop bait.
