Two Saito 90 TS for sale, the guy has 23 good and zero bad ratings. He's in Cyprus though. A little pricey at $480.00 and free shipping.

hey guys I'm not going to count my chickens cause you never know, they may not hatch. and sad but true many times my chickens never did hatch. but some guy is asking about my GeeBee Y, and,,, he lives in NH, and I can meet him just 1.5 hours away. the wife and I would enjoy the ride if they hatch. I asked for a $50 repay money order to insure he shows up. I have always like the STA Ryan

The Ryan STA has always been a favorite of mine too. Here is a picture of Jim's Piglet, he was unable to get to download from Douglas' email. I was CCed just in case. Douglas says it has to cure for a couple of days just like bacon, then it gets primed and painted. Maybe Jim and I should put guns on our planes so the Panthers and the Piglet can dogfight? Nah, we just perturb the FAA and the AMA and neither one of us needs that headache.
LOL it looks a bit different but LOL I love it LOL
thanks for posting it Mike LOL
Jim; yee Piglet Pilot's engine mechanic

Douglas had to squash him a bit to get him to the size Jim wanted and to keep the ears thick enough not to snap off. I think it gav Piglet chubby cheaks but he is still kinda cute.

Nah, its an ARF, friends don't let friends buy ARFs. If I can't build it it isn't worth owning. I agree Ryans look better with the pants. Now my 182 won't have pants I think it looks better without them.
Oh, I didn't realize you were a "build it" purist. I hope we didn't offend you.
At this point in my life I have to make a choice, either leave my saitos in a box or mount them on planes I purchased and fly fly fly. I simply don't have time to build if I want to fly all my saitos alot, which I do.

I'm not that much of a purest I just get a lot of enjoyment for building it myself. I can't leave well enough alone so if a bought a ARF/RTF/BNF I would still want to modify it which defeats the purpose of buying an ARF/RTF/BNF. And I have too much respect for this bunch of reprobates to ever be offended by anything said here. I think we all love to pull a leg from time to time of our friends posting here..
I would certainly quit flying before I ever considered to quit building.
Our field is turning into a bunch of boring, toy operators with electric ARFs and Foamies. They make straight, shallow dive passes up and down the flight line, clocking with radar to see who is the "fastest"
Eeeeeeeyuk! Hardly worth the trip to the field. The hobby is suffering from a talent drain. Thanks to the toy jerks and the AMA embracing them and the droniacs (Same fabric), the FAA is poised to kill the hobby anyhow.
"Faster! Faster", More vertical, more vertical"
Vomitous!

I have several ARF, but also build because I enjoy it. I have about an equal amount of ARF vs Built. T-Clips, Something Xtra, TF P-51, H9 P-47, H9 Twin Otter, and an empty Funtana 90 round out my ARF collection. My builds are my LT-40, which gets the most air time, two Cubs, 4*120 which I might sell to the first person to hand over $300, a 4*60 that Crunch sent me so I could build one with Retracts, and the retracts failed before it even got started, and the Liberty Sport which just needs the N struts finished to be fully ready to maiden. Out of all of them, 7 are Saito powered, the ones not Saito are either electric or 2 stroke gas, the only non saito glow is in the Liberty Sport, it has the YS 63z.
I also have several carcasses in various states of construction, .60 P-51, .60 Corsair, 101" Ziroli B-25, SIG Citabria(which is also Saito powered), and a CG Chipmunk that needs to be recovered. I also have a SIG 4*20 and LT-20 that were started, but the builders lost interest. The B-25 will be powered with a pair of Saito FG-30, but haven't selected power for the Corsair or P-51 yet. I have a Ziroli P-61 kit waiting on a shelf that will get a pair of NGH 38CC 4 stroke gas.
I had flown an OS 52 in the LT-40, but replaced it with the Saito FG-11, more reliable power. Once the Liberty Sport is done, it will be my only non Saito Glow powered plane.

Overpowered warbirds and 3D aerobats...I love it, love it, it love it! That said, I make sure I'm the only one at the field when I start my antics. Not hard to do when there's only three regular flyers that show up. I wish there were more....sad
Ok guys ran one of the 300’s last night.
it might be me but it felt like it just was not what I was expecting.
I think I’m to used to higher RPM’s.
so I was turning a 22X10 on the 300. I think that might be to much prop. At full throttle it didn’t have any real adjustment on the top end. It idled really nice and it was really smooth so what prop should I be running or trying. Sorry I can’t give you any tech numbers because I still don’t have a light that doesn’t mess with the tack.
