This kinda got me thinking about a GP Revolver brotherhood too. I might just have to think about that.

Hi,
Count me in, I think it is a great idea. I have an Ultra Sport 60 that I made from RCM plans. I really love this plane.
Thanks
Frank

I wish I had pics of my Ultra Sport .60 twin w/ retracts powered by two 0.40 OS FX engines. It was fast. Unfortunately, every Ultrasport I have owned ended up in the garbage bin. I think I'm cursed.

Homebrewer and everyone else:
Here are the rules for joining the US Brotherhood:
You must:
Currently own an Ultra Sport (Any size) OR You have owned one in the past, OR you own a kit (built or not) OR you really wish you HAD an ultra Sport. So, as you see, the criteria is pretty broad.
Now, as for "How to join"
That's easy too. The last number posted is #29 - all you have to do is say, "I'm number (add the next number in the sequence) and then add it to your signature.
Welcome Brothers!

Count me in too. I built my first Ultrasport 60 last year and it is one of the smoothest flying planes I have ever had. I have not even really experimented with throws or props yet and I already love it. Mine has an OS 61FX (slightly anemic) with an 11x8 prop and the stock muffler. I will probably try a different prop and maybe a Macs muffler.
BTW, has anyone done one of these in a trike configuration but with retracts? Got any pics?
Brian

I would really love to be a member. I see that quite a few of you have extra kits laying around that haven't been built yet. Would anyone consider selling one of the 40 or 60 kits?

Put me on the list please. # 34?? Just lost my last flying one that was 22 years old. Have to build another one !! I have been thinking about doing a 1000 with trike retracts. Can be done with a little tweaking.

Hi all,
Count me in too. I am number 35. I have own and flew all three: the 40, 60 and 1000. I have three 60s NIB and 2 40s NIB. I am thinking about building an Ultrasport 60 with a V-Tail. Any opinions, suggestions or ideas on that?
Happy flying and soft landings!

Here is my US 60.
OS 91 FX, Minnflyer designed retracts (sold by 3dxhobbies), and flaps. It’s an excellent flyer.
Thanks for lobbying Great Planes to bring back this fabulous plane!

I have a RCV.91CD mounted to mine. It is a nice Four Stroke. I am running it with an APC 14x8 prop. It is not the fastest plane I have due to the engine. But, it was what I had when I built the plane. But I love this engine. It moves it around pretty good. I have some good vertical and tall loops.
Thanks, good luck
Frank
