Small steps for now, as the weekends are reserved for family life
I've made sides and I've to start Appling the clear coat for the balsa to assure it will not capture any water in it. I have trouble with this on my seamaster. I am not exactly sure what to do with the vottom layer which would be then inaccessible from inside ...

I read someplace in this forum that you're never done sanding you just decide when to stop

uff I just closed the hull, some more layers of lacquer and i ll move on to cover it. Thats a little problematic - I plan to use transparent lacquer, then use L285 with glass to make the first layer of anti water surface. then I would use foil to wrap it all around. Any comments ?

I like everything your doing, however the foil thing scares me a little. Especially over fiberglass, I used foil on a project a few years back and it is difficult to work with. It just takes time and patience and did I mention patience? The only tip I would offer is that I found success applying foil using a plastic credit card to smooth it as I was applying. And of course your fiberglass surface has to be super smooth because it shows every little flaw.

That is just me though, your efforts so far are commendable. It looks great.

glassing .. and glassing ....

very confused about strength of epoxy L285 with 50 g/m2 glass cloth - when compared to 33 g/m2 it is really strong, used it for lower parts of the fuse
