made a scale cowl for the electronics

and some more water sanding ... still a little details to add putty and sand it , but painting is close ...

I'm getting excited with you. Have to take the time to get the sanding and filling right of course. But it is so close now that I want to see it fly!!

Keep up the great work. Looking forward to seeing the finished product!

I do like your choice of blue over the blue on the full size plane. That looks like it is going to be a blast to fly. I'd love to have either one of those, the full scale or the model.

That is a very unique cable system, I remember wondering what those bumps were for on the fuselage and know I know. I continue to be impressed and I agree with Flyer, I look forward to a flight review.

very unique indeed on real thing that it is really that simple.

i had to refit the elevator horns, due to the angles, not shown correctly in plan

Interesting idea for the struts to be mounted easily.

From the video it looked like the elevator had more down throw then up throw or was it the angle of the camera throwing me off?

Still it taxied well! What was the place you were testing at an old public swimming pool? From your jacket and hat I'm glad you didn't have to enter the water to retrieve the airplane. It looked cold!

It handled surprisingly well taxiing around. It looked like it dipped a wing tip one time from torque at full throttle or was that just a wind gust? Do you still plan on putting the wheels on it?

The tip thing was probably both of them, torque and wind. Cg way too in front, so the floats weren't getting off water. The wind rotated all around in there ..
