RE: *** Ultra Sport Brotherhood ***

I am using the GP mechanical retracts on my US60. They work very well if landings are not that bad. In a couple of bad landings the wire has bent slightly. Not a bad bent though. But enough for...

RE: *** Ultra Sport Brotherhood ***

Any 0.75 2-stroke is the perfect PLUS engine for US60. Any 0.90+ is overkill. Any 0.60 is a GOOD match.

RE: *** Ultra Sport Brotherhood ***

Steve,

I do not remember what my spinner weights, but I do remember when I was choosing the spinner for my US60, the GP plastic with aluminum backplate was the lightest of the reasonable cost...

RE: *** Ultra Sport Brotherhood ***

It flies awesome. Great pull even with the APC 12x6. As a matter of fact, the other day we checked the power with a fish scale. It was doing a pull of about 12 lbs. Same pull my SK 0.90 does in my...

RE: *** Ultra Sport Brotherhood ***

Normally, I replace wood included in kits to reduce weight in the final model. This way, my US60 final weight is 7.0 pounds without fuel, fully covered with everything.

My US60 has GP...

I have flown my US60 in Houston, TX with 15+mph winds. The only problem I have with it is taxing on the runway. The tail is very weather vain sensitive. Other than that, the US penetrates...

RE: *** Ultra Sport Brotherhood ***

Ken,

I am using the Great Planes retracts in my US60. I have not had any problem with them. I am using a Tower retract servo with them.

That's what I tell my wife about my 33 kits NIB (including two US60s) that are stored at various places in my home.

RE: *** Ultra Sport Brotherhood ***

I used the GP 40-60 and installed a TH-75 engine. I installed the engine as far back as possible to screw the engine in the thick section of the mount and cut the excess. No problems.
