RE: *** Ultra Sport Brotherhood ***

A 'bare-bones' US is a sweet looking sight, but I chose to fully sheet my wing. My US40 will be sportin' an O.S. .55 AX in the nose. She should be a rocket with that engine!

Hopefully, I'll be...

RE: *** Ultra Sport Brotherhood ***

RCU happened to come into my life at just the right moment. I was moving to a new town, coincidentally the town the Minnflyer lives in, so I contacted him. After that, Mike and I became good...

RE: *** Ultra Sport Brotherhood ***

Since I do product reviews for RCU, my Ultra Sport is in a "holding pattern" at the moment. I've been busy working on reviews for a couple of the new E-flite planes. The US40 is coming along...

RE: *** Ultra Sport Brotherhood ***

It's funny you should mention scale detailing on an Ultra sport- it's too bad there isn't a full scale version! Minnflyer and I have tossed the idea around a bit... I'd be on-board 100% if I had any...

RE: *** Ultra Sport Brotherhood ***

Lighter does not necessarily equal better... Just my two cents. I like a heavier plane- they track better in a breeze. They may land a little faster, but with the flap mod on the Ultra Sport, it...

RE: *** Ultra Sport Brotherhood ***

I re-introduced myself to flying RC back in '99 with an Eagle 2. It's a very nice flying airplane! You'll have no problems with the Eagle 2.

RE: *** Ultra Sport Brotherhood ***

I like that you are sheeting the entire wing.

I did that with my Ultra Sport .40. I added the retracts and flaps to mine as well. The wing is ready for covering, as are the tail feathers. I...

RE: *** Ultra Sport Brotherhood ***

Thanks a lot Ken! I don't really care if I'm 67 or 68- I'll change my by line to #68...

RE: *** Ultra Sport Brotherhood ***

Looks like I'll be #67! I inherited an US 40 partially built kit from Minnflyer in a trade.

I'm excited already, and this is going to be my winter project!
