If you do use black paint on the inside of the canopy, be careful not to leave the plane in the direct sunlight for very long. I painted the inside of the canopy on my Tiger 2, and while it looks...

You've got that right.:) About 8 months to build 'em only leaves 4 months to crash (I mean fly) them. Plus hopefully a few nice winter days to put on the skis.
