Given their proximity to active controlled airspace I thought that was ... well... reasonable. It was a reasonable request on their part. In class G airspace 1200 feet would be reasonable.

Three of the sites have a 600' ceiling, and one has a 500' ceiling. All three received exactly what they requested.

4 clubs with exception to 400' rule

I have had my inquiry regarding which clubs have received an exemption from the 400' rule.
All 4 sites are straddling the border of the controlled airspace.

Apparently Mr. Claus' application for a waiver from the FAA 400' rule was denied on the basis that his sleigh is for recreational use. It's unfortunate that being required to remain below the 400'...
