I COMPLETELY disagree. The club I was a member of in Denver used to hold cross country contests. It was a blast and great fun! Well worth organizing more.

I believe there are pdf's of instruments in many places at RCU. Do a search, I can guarantee something will show up.

I believe you could put something together and create your own instrument...

When you consider the fiberglass and the resin, wouldn't it still come out? I understood fiberglassing is thicker than plastic covering.

I think you could get away with 1/16" sheeting if you're going to fiberglass it.

I built mine in a GP wing jig. I'd recommend it, but it builds easy on the table as well.
