Default FRAG Battleday Sept 24th

Here are a few pictures taken during our Sept 24th Battleday. One member chose a B&W camera setting. Our day was cut a little bit short due to threatening weather, but we had a good time and a few visitors enjoyed their experience.

More pictures added tonight. These came from one of our guest visitors. Thanks Anthony

That looks great. Should be a lot of fun to battle in a setup like that.

Don't see any apples on the tanks. Did you guys get a chance to do any battling? Tanks and layout are fantastic!

The last few remind me of the rail yard scenes of Kelly's Heroes.

Beautiful work all around.

Yeah....we had a number of battles, but I was so wrapped up helping newbies and fixing tanks, that I forgot to take pictures of actual battles (we use the TBU). The Hooben Elefant is mine and this was the first time I could run it at the field....at the end of the day, so its without an apple. One of the other members also brought his (with plastic Hooben tracks) and mine (with metal tracks) didn't run any better in a couple of areas where small pebbles tend to congregate.....both tanks had tracks thrown by those little suckers....LOL

Yeah the RR pics show the field area modeled after the KH scene.......we posted a lot of those pics in prior years. PP

Wow what a great field. I was going to say i didnt see any batttle pics but I know how it goes. Im always so busy battling I have a hard time taking pics in San Diego battles. Last time I walked around with my camera in hand and took seconds to get pics at which time my sherman gets shot... I usually get most of my pics after I get KO but I try for heat of battle combat shots.

i will have to try and make one of your battles some day, its been a few years since I was in narrow guage conuntry any way, but your kinda far from that.
