Since I don't have many of your numbers, Herman Schroeder is in hospital ICU with infection of some sort. Talked to his wife Wed night he is doing better but docs don't know what's wrong yet. He has tubes in and can't talk at this point. Forsythe hospital 3333 Silas Parkway Winston Salem NC. Room 5168. Will post more when I have more info. Prayers requested please.

Oh man... this ain't good.

Been there, done that as it was exactly last year at this time I was in and didn't get released 'till Christmas Eve. Sucks during the Holidays.

Just heard from Dave Brodeur who talked with Herman today. He has a blood infection and was admitted with a 106 temp. They ice bathed him and he was on a ventilator. He is conscience now and breathing on his own. Condition has gotten better but he is no means out of the woods.

OK guys I will pass along what Herman,s wife tells me as I get it. As of 20:00 hrs 1 Dec. Herman is doing better and as Brett said is off the ventilator and has had the tubes removed. He is in better spirits but Docs still don't know what's causing infection. All other signs are improving at this point. Herman and his wife are dumbfounded at the out pouring of support so let's keep it up and the prayers too. Wish I had more but that's all I have right now.

12-2 Update. Herman is doing better, his temp is down, color is better and he is down in the number of IV towers from 5 to one and his spirits are much better.
