Default What kind of tmaxx do I have?

Was wondering how to figure out what kind of tmaxx I have I'm not sure how to upload pictures here(I'm on mobile) but my tmaxx has a blue chassis and red shocks..Asking because I'm trying to fit a TRX 3.3 on it but the mount does not line up and I think it needs a different clutch Bell or spur gear to mesh properly any help would be awesome looking to get this running thank you

Looks like a Frankenstein to me. 2.5 chassis with a 3.3 engine and transmission already installed. That blue one is indeed a TRX3.3 though. Does the new one not bolt right up?

Exactly the mount does not line up and I feel like the spur and clutch bell don't mesh and that the crank is too long

Hi,
You need to post some real detailed pictures for us to help. Get a good camera, take some detailed pics, load them on a computer then upload them to the post using the "insert image" icon along with a more detailed description of the engine as if it's new, what parts did you buy for it, etc...

Your question was concerning how the engine mounts and how the pinion mates with the spur and I don't see any pictures of that yet.

Yes but my main question is what model it is, I appreciate you and anyone else taking time to work with me, the spur on the tranny is 86tooth 48 pitch all TRX parts are stock http://imgur.com/xPy5HMr

A 48 pitch spur is not a T-Maxx spur, they are 32 pitch. That's why it's not meshing with the pinion.

Yes it sounds like you have a Frankenstein truck.
Good luck with it !
