Twin flame outs with Jet Central?
HelloLately some customers had call me regarding the possibility of a flameout because the twin turbines are too close together
Well, not with Jet Central, our turbine electronics was designed and tested for close turbine operation, regardles the position they are between each other
Regards

Hi Juan,
Jim has twin cheetahs in his f-18 and I he think said his did the same until he rotated one 45 degrees. Anything with rotating parts can produce signals of some sort. I think it was Jim

The will work ok but in my expiriance one of the turbine was working much leaner and cost the one engine to premature NGV burn out damadge from false esc rpm readings ,and after the magnetic sensor rotation the turbines acting much better with no extra heat to fight with .just my observation never have e problems like this with optical rpm sensor ,but to prove the theory I have a two vt-80 to be specifically build for twin close operation and the are right and left with all the rpm sensors on opposite sights ,the almost looking the same but if you look closely there are slight difrient ,and made specifically for twin use to prevent the rpm walking fro each other ,this turbine have the esc build inn under the cover.

I have kingtech in the F-18 and engine 1 picked up the rpm of engine 2. Rotated engine one 45deg and that solved the problem. Had 2 Cheetah's mounted in the tail of my old f-18 and had no rpm pickup problems.

Oh okay I know you had JC in the first one I thought the second had same engine.

Isn't having both flame out at the same time a good thing to prevent a potential flat spin? Some people with propeller driven twins design the fuel system to shut down if one engine dies specifically for this problem.
