Reserve Auction

A reserve auction operates the same as a standard auction EXCEPT that the seller may, in addition to a starting price, identify a Reserve Price.  The Reserve Price is a price below which the seller will not be required to sell the item.

Only ONE ITEM is permitted in a reserve auction.

The reserve price in an auction is never shown to the bidders.  They only see whether the reserve price has been met.  If you are considering a reserve auction, you should create a low starting price to stimulate the bidding.  Don't worry, the item cannot sell until your reserve has been met.

You may always lower your reserve price after the auction has started.

For this type of auction, you may be able to "InstaBuy" it before the Reserve Price has been met.
