Coololdude, when did they start making the Crowd Pleazer for the Muggy? I can never find any bodies that would fit...some say the Revo bodies can fit on the Muggy...i just need something different, the body i have now is too pretty to drive with..lol...but the stock body is too plain..and orange...

Guys;

Ive read some many bad things bout the Muggy, clutch, bearings, etc. Im thinking of getting one but this whole thing makes it hard to decide. Have any of you experienced this problems? Does somebody know of Team Losi has addressed the problem and corrected it?

Thanks for you input

most people that run the muggy have changed the tires to the smaller truggy style and that takes care if smokeing the clutches every 4 tanks of fuel..and I've found it handles way better and it's not as clumsy off the jumps...and as far as what I've done with my clutch I've gone to an 8ight-T clutch setup...and I've put about 2 1/2 gal. on a set of clutch shoes

I was smoking clutches every other time i ran my Muggy, i just got an STS .28 and put a 12t vented CB and Dynamite Max-Life shoes...i also put truggy tires on it to help with the rotating mass....i wanna take all my aluminum a-arms off and switch to RPM to take some more weight off....if you wanna see my Muggy, it's on Page 2...on the top.

i haven't heard of any complaints about the 8ight-T...probably because it's a different chassis and has smaller wheels.

I have the beadlocks with Big Joes...they're too heavy. I think that was half my clutch problem...

I have been thinking about converting my LST to a truggy for some time now. I had already wondered how the clutch would hold up without a 2 speed........this affirms my thoughts on it.

So, if you want a monster truck for ultimate fun keep a LST or LST2 (NO Clutch Probs)! If you want to race trucks go with a truggy.

The muggy concept is great and would probably make great racing with a bigger engine and heavy duty clutch with the factory size tires......!!!!!!!!!!! Just a thought!

I will probably still make the conversion though because someone will make a steel or ceramic clutch for the monster power engines when enough people start buying muggies.

I was wondering what the difference is between muggy shock length and LST shock length. They look short! If so, how much shorter are they and would original LST shocks fit without the bottom shock mount on the lower arms?

Cool, thx man! It looks like I could make a conversion work! Just chasis, braces, center dif, shock towers, and linkage set!

Werks clutch is all I have used since November04 on my LST's....did not work on the Muggy. I use a Fioroni with a 12t vented clutchbell and a 48t spur.

My Muggy has LST2 shocks on it...i got them because they have the aluminum shock shafts...they look good. I found out that the LST2 springs are a little longer than Muggy springs...so i ditched both and went with white springs.
