A great morale building victory this morning. Something moves! Canopies are a PITA due to the small size of the parts but work well. This kit is not sold for the beginner for a reason. You actually have to do some that modeling sh**. Thats what makes it fun. Will finish the canopies today and back on the tail group again tomorrow.

Other canopy finished. They work PERFECTLY! Avonds is a genious in engineering and producing parts that fit and work (hint hint China arf producers). I still need to grind away the extra f/g and install the canopy stays. Wx sux here today so that will have to wait. Currently back on the stabs correcting my oops. I just cant say enough about the quality of Philip's kits. They are a pleasure to build, quality hardware and most of all they fly great!

Well the first repair of my screwup. I actually like what I did more than stock. I wound up with 2 layers of 1.5m balsa along the root vs. 1 single layer. Will make the root much more robust. Right view is repair (rough) and left is screwed up sheeting.

Hi Tom
Very Nice Project
" ?As for your Question: “ how many Chinese ARFs have ball bearing fowler flaps with milled aluminum flap tracks
The Answer is :
RCJETCENTER Fouga Magister ( 1:4.5 ) ARF , Comes with scale ball bearing fowler flaps with milled aluminum flap tracks.
See The Pictures.
It is based on the Full-Scale Fouga Rails and comes already installed on the Model.

Spent the last few days repairing my T33. A little work was done to the Fouga that allowed this.
Under the pantry is a Fouga wing. I laminated cf cloth over the gear area yesterday and today i applied cf tow along the length of the main spar before sheeting. It needs to sit 24h to cure. Next week I hope to get the remaining construction done and get it sheeted....i hope.

Not a lot of visible progress today but very inportant fitting. The G10 parts are the aileron moveavators...dont know what to call them. They take left/right servo movement and make the gizmo go up and down. Jack Diez said he still doesnt understand how it works. Also did a bunch of stringers for the flaps and speedvrake box.
