Sweet looking jumps!! Damn, if it would only stop raining here I'd be able to clean up my track. It's nothing but a soggy over grown mess right now.

RE: Official Muggy thread

Well bummer. I tried this modification and still have an ungodly amount of slop on my left side. It's just stoopid how much wiggle there is. Hmm... might have to start trolling fleece-bay for a used...

For your steering...

RE: Official Muggy thread

But aside form that, has anyone tried to drill out the steering tie bar and fit it w/ bearings? Just wondering if I'd be wasting my time.

RE: Official Muggy thread

How about a basically un-censored board where you can post about any brand of product w/out having your post deleted? I've created a forum, small at the moment, that I'd like your feedback on please....

RE: Official Muggy thread

Yup, the steering slop is so bad I'm seriously considering gutting my Mug for an 8ight. Please correct me if I'm wrong, but willclark's mod looks like all he did was change to ball links. How has...

RE: Official Muggy thread

That was my intent, but the money it would cost for replacement parts I'm almost back to the cost of a new motor for something that I don't know how it's gonna run. There is zero pinch left, the...

RE: Official Muggy thread

Just curious, is anyone using a Hitec 7955 servo for steering. If so are you using the stock throttle/brake servo horn or a Hitec servo horn?
Thanks,

RE: Official Muggy thread

Well, if anyone is interested, you do NOT want the rotostart back plate #87127. I purchased this one b/c a lot of websites said it would fit. It's not even close. Now I'm going to try #87117

RE: Official Muggy thread

I thought of that, but then I'd have to buy the Losi spin start. Or at least the wand and hope it fits my roto start. The spin start is a hex drive the roto start is a dog bone drive. I think I've...

RE: Official Muggy thread

Btw, those of you running the LRP spec 3, what plug are you running for general bashing around and what % fuel do you run. I don't race so just want a good plug for bashing on 20% fuel.
Thanks,

RE: Official Muggy thread

Woops, forgot to ask: Artifact, you say you're using the 48T spur gear from the 8-T, did you have to modify anything else to fit that? And your vented 12T clutch bell is from a Muggy or 8? Thanks,
