Colour swap Infinity Rebel is just about there. Ive had it a couple of days to clean up the owners install a little.
Test run the JetCat P-130 and we are ready for restrictions to end.

I have a Hott to finish and I can’t decide whether to go Mercury or Pioneer and iSat. If you are using HV servos the Pioneer is lighter and a cost saving. If you need a V3 Sensor switch for 5.9v then you should go Mercury as the cost then is pretty much the same. The Mercury is a nice neat compact unit I find myself using in most things

I test flew the Yellow Infinity Rebel last weekend, Hans off, 1 peep of aileron trim and we were off. I got the old boy who owns it to check the balance as I flew it. To make it easier for one person to check it we did the same as my Viper check, remove the wings and check the balance with just the wing tube in, tailplane fitted, landing fuel in main tank-in the std CARF tank that is approximately 3/4 showing (hopper full) and top canopy on. It balances 3/8 (9mm) in front of spar.

I am thinking about a Carf rebel classic. I have a set of JP electric gear with 3.5 main wheels and 3 nose wheel. Besides a possible problem with leg lengths, would there be a problem with the 3.5 and 3 wheels? The Carf JP gear looks like it uses 3 main wheels and 2.5 nose wheel. My gear weighs 3.3lb and I see that the Carf JP gear is 3.0lb which would not be much of a weight increase.

I was hoping to catch up with one of my customers, the larger wheel might need the opening trimming very close to the root rib. Reducing the length of the legs would be the answer, but that is not easy with trailing link and bigger wheels.
