I had to cut out the bottom of the seat and the seat pedestal.

Just because it's designed for at 35, doesn't mean you can't hang a 55 on it. It's all buttoned up, but I took a couple of pic's when I was trying decide where to put the ignition module( it put it in the engine box). I reinforce the motor box with aluminium angle stock. I did the same on a Hanger 9 P47 150 with a G62.

Hey guys our lineup pf Warbirds is scheduled to be on display and for sale at the upcoming WRAM show in February.
Come by the Robart display to see them.
In the meantime we have all in stock and ready to ship.
If interested give us a call at 800 380 9373
We are getting very positive feedback on all 3 planes. Yes there have been a few complaints but certainly nothing that's unexpected for any plane hitting the marketplace.
Thanks for all your support. We couldn't do it without you guys.

We're building one for a customer in Peoria Illinois.
Dave our builder decided to change the pull pull hardware to Secraft wire tensioners and cables.
http://www.gator-rc.com/secraft-wire-tensioner-blue
and
http://www.gator-rc.com/secraft-pull...a-3meters-long
and:
http://www.gator-rc.com/secraft-pull...cable-8mm-1-32
This is a nice way to do it.
FWIW. We offer full building services for all of our planes.
I hook you up with a builder either in Chicago or Florida.
There's lots of people who lack the time and or skill to complete the process.
If interested contact me for details.
Thanks, for your interest.

We are now scheduled to be at the WRAM show in 3 weekends.
If you've never been there check out this link:
http://www.wram.org/
We'll be showing all the Warbirds as well as bringing planes to sell.
You can save shipping costs by having us bring you one to the show.
If interested give us a call and we will include a show special incentive if you prepay.
If anyone had any doubts about the quality of the TopRCModel lineup this will be a good opportunity for you to see them up close and personal.
Hope to see you there. If you plan to attend let us know so we can look for you.
Thanks and have a great day.

Gents, first I'm sorry I've been slacking on the build. Not much progress as I was on the road for a month and a half. Since my last post, I've mounted the motor and cut the cowling (work in progress), and cut/mounted the canopy/greenhouse. But, the reason for my current post is a direct appeal to Top RC.
I just ordered the following P-38 from Motion: http://www.motionrc.com/flightlinerc...-wingspan-pnp/
In two months, there's already a 50+ page thread on it on RC groups: http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showt...2580046&page=8
If they can build a 63" foamie of this quality and there's this much enthusiasm for it, imagine what you could do with a 115"+ fiberglass version, and imagine the response! I'll order one, the second you announce your intentions to build the ARF.

I was informed several years ago that the Lockheed corporation expects a payment to them for every scale model of a P-38 that is sold. Apparently their legal staff had a lot of free time on their hands. This information was given to me by an active importer so I am inclined to believe it. Kind of sad, since Lockheed was funded by the Army to develop the plane in the first place.
P-38's are rare and this is one reason why.

Roger. Obviously it's not insurmountable...there have been numerous examples over the last 5 years or so including the one that JUST came on the market (which inspired my plea). Would love to see an ARF in the 1/4-1/5th scale!
