zrooster that's beautiful. I'm sure it was a little pricey to have the spinner cut but well worth it. I also have a Dave Brown Spinner. What size and pitch prop are you flying and I don't remember...

Losing a wheel can be trouble. I've had it happen with my Top Flight Corsair..Came in with gear up..only broke the prop.. Nose heavy isn't really much of a problem..Tail heavy is the enemy.. Action...

I installed a heat shield, cut a little more cowl away from the cylinder head and cut 10 holes in the exhaust manifold to help hot air escape from the top half of the cowl

Struts are great, I had to change the axle's to a harder metal..My plane weighs 22.5 pounds and it didn't take much to bend them on a not so perfect landing

Possibly..I have a club member who is really good at things such as this as well as repairing, mounting and building..He rebuilt the firewall and mounted the motor for me

My spitfire was electric when my fellow club...

My spitfire was electric when my fellow club member owned it. Unfortunately it caught fire on the first flight. Used a 100amp ESC instead of a 125amp. He had sound system installed also
