Not quite ready to maiden yet. Waiting for pilot to return from the paint shop. final balancing and a little more weathering etc. Besides, at 99 degrees at 8 am it's been just too hot.

Certainly another option. My friend who is using the DLE 55 RA has to use extensions on the stock muffler that comes with it.

I looked at the muffler for the P-40 and while the front is tapered, it appears that the exhaust pipes are angled to the rear.
