A Rufe is based on the A6M2,, different shaped cowl as a A6M3-5

I think he's going for scale shape

Ted, I've been looking over the plans and they are nice. The tip float attachment is pretty standard Block landing gear wire. I think the Top Flite conversion uses the same method. Only issues I see...

Funny thing here, power is off for about half the town, I went down to get more gas and drove by McDonald's, It was the only place with lights on on the block, they must have a back up system,, Drive...

Yes, I have 2 scales at home, it sure saves time, I have UPS ans FedEx accounts too,, I never stand in lines, If I miss my daily pick up I just swing by and drop it off. When I lived in LA, the lines...

Yeah, see this is why I suggest comparing fuse lengths, not wing spans or scale%,, those might not be 100% accurate as to scale 3-view,, And as you know, when setting up a float plane, float length...

The numbers I quote say they're the same, both 1480mm,, you posts say 1480 and 1490,, 10mm isn't close to a 9% difference

One of use has the wrong numbers?? see why I'm confused [:o]

This where I get confused, how can the have the same scale and wing span when one should be a bigger span than the other, if the Rufe and the 40 size are truly both 1/8 scale, the Rufe should have...

Careful just using the wingspan as the indicator,, the Rufe was based on the A6M2 with a 12m wing span, Most Zero kits are based on the A6M5 which had a shortened 11m wingspan as of the a6m3...

I don't know how they deal with copyright issues of defunct companies, but it would be nice to have them in the hands of a reputable organization.
